ABRUZZO AT ALBA
Abruzzo is a place of contrasts.
Mountains, shepherds and food cooked over fire on one side. The Adriatic coast, fishing villages and simple seafood dishes on the other.
And somewhere in between, a cuisine that feels exactly the way we like food at Alba: generous, uncomplicated and deeply connected to where it comes from.
This October, our journey through Southern Italy takes us to Abruzzo.
We’ve created four specials that tell a little piece of the region, from the Adriatic coast to the mountains.
For one month only, come experience our take on traditional Italian food from Abruzzo, made in the Alba kitchen and served in the heart of Newtown.
Come hungry. Abruzzo is waiting.
BRUSCHETTA

(DF)
GEMELLI
Gemelli pasta with prawns and artichokes, brought together with garlic, extra virgin olive oil and fresh herbs. Light, savoury and full of the flavours of the Mediterranean

ARROSTICINI
One of Abruzzo’s most loved dishes. Lamb skewers chargrilled until smoky and tender, served with salsa verde and our crispy Alba potatoes

PARROZZO
Our take on the traditional Parrozzo — a soft almond and semolina cake, baked individually and covered in dark chocolate. Served with vanilla gelato
