Most Christmas parties end up in a function room with cold canapés and a bar tab nobody can track. At Alba your team sits at one long table and the food keeps coming: parmigiana, lamb rigatoni, porchetta, house limoncello.
Nobody has to read a menu or split a bill by dish. You choose one menu for the whole table, we look after the rest. We have been bringing the food and traditions of Southern Italy to King Street since 2019.

Lunch or dinner, your choice
Dinner for groups of 8 to 20 is available every night from 5pm. Weekday lunches are by arrangement only: the restaurant is normally closed, so your team can have the whole room. Ideal for bigger teams or an afternoon that runs long.
More than 20 guests?
We can host larger groups at weekday lunch, or take over the whole restaurant for up to 60 guests. Call us on 0403 398 918 or send us an enquiry and we will put together a proposal.

We book a short call to plan the details and answer your questions.
A 50% deposit confirms your table. The balance is due 48 hours before.
The deposit is fully refundable up to 7 days before, when final numbers and dietary requirements are also due. A 10% service charge applies to group bookings, and a 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.
We take a limited number of group tables each service, and Friday nights in December are always the first to go. If you have a date in mind, lock it in now.

How much does a Christmas party at Alba cost?

Our group menus are $55 (Mandolina), $70 (Mediterraneo) or $90 (Masseria) per person. With unlimited drinks for 2 hours, packages range from $100 to $155 per person. A 10% service charge applies to group bookings.
How many people can you seat for a Christmas party?

We take bookings for groups of 8 to 30 guests. For larger groups we offer weekday lunches with the whole restaurant, or exclusive hire for up to 60 guests.
Can we book a Christmas lunch on a weekday?

Yes, by arrangement. The restaurant is normally closed for weekday lunch, so your group can have the whole room. Contact us to agree the date and menu.
Are you open over Christmas?

We are open every day in November and December except Christmas Day. A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays, including Boxing Day.

Yes. We have vegetarian, vegan, lactose free and coeliac versions of all our menus. Send us dietary requirements with your final numbers 7 days before the booking.

Alba is a 3 minute walk from Newtown Station. If you are driving, there is parking nearby on Newman Street, Linthorpe Street and Wilson Street.
